Artist Statement

The jetty ruins near Kingscote on Kangaroo Island, Australia. Photographed using a long exposure on a an early morning during the summer of 2018. Kangaroo Island is home to native wildlife like sea lions, koalas and diverse bird species. I was visited by a curious sea lion during this long exposure who didn't remain still enough to be included in the capture of the old pier.
