A constant drive and motion, where nothing remains intact in still form. Time and space are in question. The wise look into dizzying space, impact, altercation. Being one with the triumph of a process is a way to resist the chaos. A moment of mindfulness to keep and reveal in spells.

Nicola Barth was born in 1966 in Mölln. The artist has studied German literature, theatre, film and television, and psychology at the JW Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Barth finds new forms of expression with brush strokes, fuelled colour schemes and abstract passion. A rekindling sense of metamorphic processes are the focus of her work along language and the space around. Hinting realms of identity, alienation, individual perspective form part of her art pieces. Her paintings are stunning blends of rare graphics and use of light that gives insight into her mind and expansion of thought. The artist works with graphite, oil, digital photography, brush and paints in multi dimensional rhythms.
