Artist Statement
Tentacled shapes of ruin, rage and ravage blend with earthy colours. A unification of dreamlike matters with the twist of synergy, composition, prints. The art piece moves to decipher deep meanings, revolutions and responses with blurred looks, figurative elements and even oddity.

Nicola Barth was born in 1966 in Mölln. The artist has studied German literature, theatre, film and television, and psychology at the JW Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Barth finds new forms of expression with brush strokes, fuelled colour schemes and abstract passion. A rekindling sense of metamorphic processes are the focus of her work along language and the space around. Hinting realms of identity, alienation, individual perspective form part of her art pieces. Her paintings are stunning blends of rare graphics and use of light that gives insight into her mind and expansion of thought. The artist works with graphite, oil, digital photography, brush and paints in multi dimensional rhythms.
