As the years progressed (Covid) and we still found ourselves at home, I started to travel and distract myself even more through my art. Filling that growing need for freedom and calmness. Combining memories of walks in England, with short visits to nearby parks and my colourful garden. Embracing something timeless and placeless, yet recognisable.
Having lived in both NL as the UK, the landscapes, light and colours of these two countries influence my work greatly.
