XL / Large heavy textured abstract landscape painting with green, ochre, violet, copper and gold hues on linen canvas with aluminium stretcher bars.
Taking a step back. Calming down. This collection started in autumn, a beautiful time for reflection and introspection. Going within and looking back at the learnings and experiences of previous works, blending techniques, but keeping things simpler. Celebrating my love for colour and texture.
This painting was inspired by an early summer visit to the gardens of 'Appeltern' in The Netherlands. The fresh green colours or all the plants made me feel so energised and happy.
