Artist Statement
The 'Riviera Collection' is about revisiting old travel memories. One that brings us back to a feeling, a place, a new perspective that we all hold and cherish. One that made for a cool story or at the least.. changed you in some way.

I am an abstract artist based in Bali, Indonesia. My paintings gravitate towards a simple aliveness — similar to that interconnected & experiential feeling one gets when in nature.
I am inspired by emotions, by places, by nature, poetry, films, colour palettes and textures around me. You will find a lot of these elements placed together in my painting.. Each canvas sharing its own version of the story.
I primarily work with acrylics but enjoy a mixed range of media on canvas. Adding more mediums like spray paint, marker, graphite- add another layer and texture to my work which keeps it interesting for me to keep pushing and playing with the result of the artwork. I oscillate between meditative and expressionistic play on canvas which results in contrasting shapes in organic patterns and forms.
