I find it challenging to describe what inspired me to make this specific painting. There is an urge to express what I have inside, and it can almost feel like a duty. Instead of trying to feel better, I am making an attempt to become better at feeling. When I touch the essence of a feeling I get a strong impulse to want to share that through my work and this goes for everything I make. Sometimes I feel explosive and sometimes I feel a soft gentleness surging through me and it is the feeling that is moving the brush.
