Artist Statement
August is the peak of lotus blossom. In search of the colors and atmosphere that create the lotus lakes, I went on an exciting journey through the south of Russia.
The plot for a new picture opened before my eyes: the lake of blooming lotuses. The amazing canvas of shades of yellow and green is complemented by peach, pink and cream accents – lotus flowers.
During flowering, this amazing flower is always facing the sun, which I tried to fix on the canvas.
