The picture is written from nature.
Salt Lake is located on the southern coast of the Taman Peninsula, between the Bugazsky estuary and the Cape of Iron Horn.
In summer, the lake dries almost completely and its surface is covered with a thin layer of coarse-grained salt. Under the layer of salt lies a layer of black mud. To the touch, this mud resembles mud, only there is a strong smell of hydrogen sulfide.

« I translate the nature that surrounds me into volumetric structures. »
Olga Bezhina is a prizewinning Russian painter. She frequently works 'en plein air,' rethinking natural colors and capturing the optical effect of light and wind flowing. For her, the open air acts as a creative laboratory, where the search for the most advanced pictorial approaches is carried out and new solutions discovered. Her resulting paintings are full of rhythm, bold colors and a balance of strength and silence that directly reflects the majestic landscapes of the Taman Peninsula.
