Artist Statement

IconCaretDown

In this picture, I personally see a black heart squeezed by a hand. In our
life events happen that bring us pain and our hearts become stale. We become withdrawn,
angry, hateful... But everything passes, and if you break this shell and give yourself
a chance to become happy, then bright and kind emotions will burst out again like a volcano.
This is what I see. But since this is an abstraction, you may see a completely
different picture.
The painting is made in the fluid technique using plaster and gold pigment.
Very textured and changes with different lighting.
This artwork sale's unframed.
The drawing is titled & signed on the back, also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Comes ready to hang.
Gallery quality Premium, environmentally friendly.
Linen canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment
the artwork & doesn't need framing.
The mountains are made with textured paste and look three-dimensional.
Each painting is one of a kind.
Artwork will be sent to you carefully packed in protective packaging.

Artist Profile

Hometown: moscow

Based in: Moscow

My name is Olga Zaitseva (creative pseudonym Olga Tiho). I am a full-time professional artist based in Moscow, Russia.
I have been drawing since the age of 7 since entering art school. I trained as an interior designer, fashion designer, and illustrator. All these professions are very closely related to painting, so I never let go of brushes and paints. But I didn't have the courage to do the final choice and become a professional artist until recently.
2020 has been a pivotal year for me in choosing this direction. My paintings enjoy widespread success. The great demand for finished canvases, as well as custom-made paintings and cooperation with design bureaus.
At the moment I draw a lot, continue to participate in exhibitions and competitions, and study to improve my professionalism.
