Nandi means bull and bull denotes religion. This religion is the vahana of Lord Mahadev, so, in conventional language it is said to be the bull of religion. In these paintings the artist has depicted different forms of Nandi. Paintings of various sculptures of Nandi can be seen from prehistoric times which are marked as a symbol of religion. In these three paintings the artist has given a novel form to Nandi through imagery incarnations.
