From the 'Botanic' series, which was inspired by the art movements of the 1920s and 30s. Each image has a contemporary-classic feel, with some of the flowers seeming almost balletic in their elegant forms.
Each photographic study fills the frame, almost to over-flowing, as though the flower is pushing to break free of the confines of the print. Using monochrome, rather than full colour, Paul creates compositions with simpler tones of light and shade; and his careful use of gentle lighting works to draw out the delicate shapes and textures of each subject.
This warm-toned, limited edition, museum-quality pigment ink print is made on fine-art paper, using archival inks. Other sizes are available.
The print comes with a border, which gives two options for framing. The print can be framed with the border and signature showing. Alternatively, the framer can trim the border to produce a borderless frame, where the frame fits up to the edge of the printed image
