Artist Statement
Canyon, this is something abstract, deeply relief, with different drops in elevation from smooth to sharp sharp slopes. It is an incredible feeling looking at the picture, you are immersed in a chain of connected mountains, hills of exposed rock and narrow uplands with flat peaks and steep slopes. The work is done on a solid oak tree. It is framed in a frame by glass also made of solid oak. The light fixture is also specially made of oak, in the evening due to the shadows from the reliefs it immerses you deeper and deeper into this story.
