Artist Statement
My inspiration came from a poet, Mok Wol Park. As the moon and clouds come each night, people also pass through the night. Just as the moon and clouds dissipate, so does our day. My painting highlights the beauty of the night, but also the quickness of that reality, or moment we live through.
