Artist Statement
I chose to depict my mother's thinking processes in the dripping portions of my painting as her memory is fading day by day. Giving gratitude is one way to overlook the difficulties. The main message I wish to give the viewer is when looking at my painting after a difficult day, to have a release of tension and a peace of mind from what was disorganized to what can be harmony.
