Artist Statement
When people think of their first love, they often think of nostalgic moments or memories in their distant past. I was confronted with a beautiful story that brought up warm, but heartbreaking feelings. The colors red and blue came to mind with an overflowing energy that reminded me of the freshness of spring and the innocence of our first loves.
