Artist statement
‘Dialogue - Diptych’ is an abstract interpretation by the artist Peisy. She often explores the boundaries of introspection in its simplest, purest abstraction. Building subtle layers and mark making onto the canvas creates depth, portraying conversational topics. A strip of orange painted on the edge of the painting in between the diptych represents a dynamic of an inward dialogue carried on by the mind with itself.
