Chen is a Wuhan-born Shanghai-based printmaker and painter.
Chen received her MA in print from Royal College of Art (UK) and her BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (Canada).

With many years of overseas professional study and work experience, she specializes in fusing Chinese and Western cultural theories and artistic expressions, and combining Chinese and Western printmaking techniques with multiculturalism to create 3D and multidimensional visual creation practice based on 2D.
