Artist Statement

This common honeybee is one of a series of more than 40 tiny watercolor paintings I made during the pandemic lockdown. All of the insect pictures are in the 4"x5" format and framed at 12"x15". The series also includes tiny watercolors and drawings of ancient artifacts including ivory and stone carvings and ceramics. Each picture is archivally mounted, matted and framed and ready to hang.
