Artist Statement

30cm X42 cm (total width of 2 artworks side by side) canvas sheet with acrylic paint and fine line marker with matte varnish.

New York is a 2 part painting that is connected with a single black line flowing through. These paintings are inspired by this beautiful, magnificent city of New York. Bright pop yellow with black lines is reminiscent of the famous New York cabs which are also its lifeline. The gloomy grey with black lines is reminiscent of the gloomy New York weather with tall sky-high buildings.
New York for me has always been a source of inspiration. There is just so much to see everywhere. Be it its iconic buildings, subway network, bridges, street layout. There are lines and geometry in every nook and corner.

These paintings are my representation of the essence of New York.

They are made on canvas sheets and are signed by the artist, are unframed, and come flat packed.
The color on the screen might vary slightly from the actual painting.
