Artist statement
The artwork is a photograph of a hull of a moored yacht with the water lapping at its side. The artwork pays homage to the work of the British landscape painter J.M.W.Turner who was an influential exponent of romanticism, an artistic movement of the late 1700s to mid-1800s that emphasized an emotional response to nature.
