God created this world very complete and varied. From the smallest thing to the largest. He created very carefully. The artist was very impressed with the work of the God. Finally the admiration of artists erouse curiosity about what God has not created yet. Is there anything that has not been created by God?
In the process of work, I put myself as "God" in my paintings. I tried to create a new 'world' like God created the world from nothing. Certainly difficult for human to imagine something that has never existed. However, what world that I'm trying to create would have been different from what God has created. Although many people think that my paintings resemble extraterrestrials or marine life, that is not the main issue. I would enjoy the process of painting that to me it resembles the process of creation of the universe.
I started with paint some random shapes in the random space on my canvas. I do that with no sketching before. And then I growing up that random shapes with my motoric painting style. I paint that random shapes until it filled every empty space on my canvas. I did this metode to more easily found the new forms that unthinkable before. Then, I start to make a weird dimensions and prespective, to erase all of our memory about the world where we live everyday.

Based in: Bandung
Rendy Raka Pramudya was born in Jakarta on June 15, 1992. He is the second of three children. I lived and completed my education up to High School in Jakarta. Since I was young, I started painting and often won a school-level drawing competition. My interest in painting stems from the habits of parents who often draw and paint at home. In 2010, I then continued my education at the ITB Faculty of Fine Arts. In college I majored in Fine Arts, a painting studio.
Like other students, I started college by painting formalist, symbolic and expressionist. Then my interest in abstracts appeared when I felt 'satisfied' with the ability to paint with realist techniques, which at that time I thought were merely imitating an object. I also felt that there was something more important to paint than 'just imitating objects'.
In 2014 during my final lecture I began working on the painting series "Creating the Journey of Life". The series that I finally thought could represent what I really wanted to describe at that time. Until now, I still do the painting series.
After graduating from college in 2015 I decided to stay in Bandung with the reason "because all my art friends are in Bandung". I often take part in art exhibitions in Jakarta, one of which is 'Sensation of Art Sensation' which was held at the National Gallery in 2015. In early 2016 I exhibited a solo exhibition entitled 'Transvertere' at ROH Projects. I also began to make a series of new paintings such as "Will in Creation" and "Layers of Life".
At the end of 2017 I passed as a nomination at the Bandung Contemporary Art Award held by Lawangwangi Creative Space. At that event I included a new series called "Forms of Time in Creation". In that series, I tried to separate layers in a painting by painting on acrylic sheets, so that there were different spaces and times in one work.
