Artist Statement
Painting is a participant in the exhibition "Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow" at the ARTPLAY Design Center, Moscow, Russia.
The paradox of the night. The night is an unusual time that exists simultaneously yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Here comes tonight, it will continue tomorrow, but at midnight it will already be yesterday. And at the moment of time, it is today. This night may be today, or it may be 50 years ago. You can look at this painting for as long as you look at the starry sky itself, look at small details, find something new every time. This is the unusual beauty of nature, which is hidden from the eyes of people behind the lights of the city.
At the end I use a coat of varnish, to protect the painting.

"Something is lost in the realities of modern life and I'm trying to find it."
Painting is like meditation for me. Before I start painting, I plan an approximate view of the picture. But in the process of working, I change everything according to my own feeling. As if something tells me how to use the brush next. And I give in to this inner voice. The result is quite expressive landscapes.
My paintings are about an invisible connection with nature, which is gradually being lost. They carry silence, tranquility and harmony with the surrounding world.
