About the art
Artist statement
"Energia vital. Nocturno" by Rina Garon.
Set against a somber backdrop, the painting partially unveils a mere fragment of a pomegranate, as if offering a glimpse into a realm overshadowed by its own limitless energy and life force. The vibrant hues of the pomegranate seeds manage to hold one's gaze, contrasting with indistinct, hazy lines that meld into the background, creating an ethereal atmosphere akin to that of an enigmatic spirit.
Within this artwork, the pomegranate, an emblem of fertility and abundance, carries profound symbolism. It serves as a solemn reminder of nature's commanding might and the dormant energy that lies within us, capable of shaping our fates. Each pomegranate seed appears as a minuscule flicker, subtly glowing amidst the darkness, poised to bloom and usher in new beginnings to a world plagued by uncertainties. The painting style accentuates the enigma and riddles of this realm. The blurred lines and gentle transitions seem to hypnotize the observer, compelling us to sense the life force that saturates all that surrounds us.
