Artist Statement

Chuqui created with the signature Colorflow technique. The artwork is a part of the Colors for Climate series, portraying unique landscapes of our planet, in order to raise the awareness of the environmental issues. Chuqui is inspired by the largest open-pit copper mine in the world located north of Chile (Chuquicamata). It represents the significance of human impact on our environment. The artwork has a rich texture and catches the light differently throughout the day.
