Artist Statement
The Invisible Folly No.7 is a contemporary approach to landscape drawing interpreted with mixed media. I have classified this piece as a drawing, but it has quite a few painterly qualities and unique textural aspects due to the multitude of layers and application of different mediums. In person, The Invisible Folly No.7 is romantic, moody and dramatic...yet soft in the areas (the sky) where different blending approaches play against densely textured spaces.
