During summer Hong Kong can be very rainy, with periods in which the rain can last also for weeks. However, during these days the opportunities for fascinating shots increase, due to the mesmerizing interaction between the rain and the colorful neon light. People with umbrellas are also another interesting subject to capture to me: this is a triple exposure shot taken during one of those days of intense raining.
Limited edition of 25 printed on Pro Luster paper, 60x42 cm (comes with a white border for easy framing), with signed certificate of authenticity.

I'm an italian architect and photographer. The journey of my life had a big change around 10 years ago, when I decided to move to China for working reasons. Since then, my passion for photography exploded, due also to the infinite possibilities and scenarios that asian cities are able to offer.
When I moved to Hong Kong I started exploring this city through my lenses: my architecture background has for sure a lot of influence on my photography and I like to dig out the soul of this city and its archetypal elements with the use of bold colors and double exposure: nightscapes, cityscapes, architecture and more...in a neverending process of learning, improving and experimenting towards my vision of this crazy, yet breathtaking city.
