Seung ah Lee was born in Seoul, Korea in 1975, and currently lives and works in Seoul and Singapore. She studied at Ewha Woman’s University and Goldsmiths College, University of London. Seung ah works in a variety of media, including printmaking, printed materials, video, sound, and installation. She creates her art works that include the recent phenomena of society such as surveillance system, record obsession, and relationship on the networking from the change of our complicated environment. Seung ah is exploring how pervasive media and technology expose our lives and how people respond. Most recently her works have been shown at ICAS (Singapore), the Lounge gallery (London), Korean cultural center (Sydney), Cultural Center "Magaza" (Macedonia), Multimedia Art Asia Pacific (Australia), Total Museum, Sungkok museum, Seoul art center (Korea). She also engaged with diverse project exhibitions and workshops as an independent curator. During recent years, her works were collected by National Museum of Contemporary Art, Art Bank (Korea) KBS Exhibition hall (Korea), Korean Film Archive (Korea).
