Artist statement
Painted outside in 0'C. The artist ended up finding the back of the piece more interesting, so used that as the "front”. This ongoing practice is focused on being in intense physical situations, as a way to engage with unconscious compositional processes and to remain more present throughout. The title is a line from the diary on that day.
