This piece is a long beak pitcher inspired by the bronzes of the Zhou dynasty. I made it with a clay that I collect directly in the mountain. I work on the general form by sculpted it as a sculpture. The days after I excave the inside of the pitcher in two or three times to obtain the thickness I want. After I fire the piece at 900°C. Then I glaze the pots with many different minerals that I collect in the mountains and crush it by hand. Finally I fire the pitcher a second time at 1280°C. The aim is to work with the same really old and traditional materials who was used by chineses potters a long time ago but in a contemporary way: as archaïc than the Zhou pieces, really close to the nature through its forms and matters.
The piece is foodsafe, every materials are collected in the forest by hand.
