Artist statement
Intensity | this bright color series is inspired by the phantastic artworks of Rupprecht Geiger and Yves Klein – they radiate and pulsate with the sheer power of colour. I love the contrast between pink and yellow that seems real delight. It is suitable as a meditation image – to maintain mindfulness – to follow the soul path in silence. Also inspired by Mark Rothko and Georgia O’Keefee. I create original art works – mostly with oil colors. This painting was completed with daylight acrylic colors to achieve the wanted brightness. Colors are my passion and you can see that on the canvas. You can experience it each day you own it!
