Artist Statement
Ink and iIvory black oil paint over which Titanium white oil paint has been applied before drawn into to create a black and white minimal white abstract painting. Part of a series of drawing paintings based on the chalk cliffs where Stuart lives - the end of land in the United Kingdom before the English Channel.

Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (painting and printmaking) in 1995. After which Stuart started to make installation and sound work culminating in CD releases for Seattle based label and/OAR (2004) and Spanish label Con-V (2005).
After making sound and object based installations in the late 00s, Stuart started to make painting and drawing as the main activity of his practice sometime around 2012. He currently live and work in Brighton on the south coast of the UK.
