The artist considers this painting, acrylic on polyester, to be a continuation of the kind of space revealed in sbc 195 and sbc 203.
A formal matrix that is prevented from being perceived as merely figure-ground by virtue of its interaction with three separate receding spaces, none of which can be read as the background.
