The title of the work is:
VENEDIG 123 - KYJIW 2
- The essence of a holiday
- Stratification of time
One of my Trips to the wonderful City of Kyjiwin Ukraine back in 2009.
A work made out of over 500 Pictures taken in Kyjiw.
The art project VENEDIG 123 - which I have worked intensively on, is the reduction of the average number of photographs - the holiday pictures were taken on a typical vacation in Germany (over the last 20 years) - to a single image, this is done by the digital layering of 35 - 250 frames
According to my research, over the years the average number of photos taken home from a holiday trip has grown from around 35 photos (20 years ago) to well over 250 photos.
Everything started with my Trip to Venice - and I took 123 Pictures there.
I made more than 45 Works from this series.
They come in bigger and smaller sizes too - so please contact me.
All prints are printed on HAHNEMUEHLE PAPER Photo Rag from a professional printing service who are HAHNEMUEHLE PAPER certified and works for galleries.
Signed, numbered on the back of the print.
The print will be shipped to you carefully rolled and wrapped in protection bubblewrap in a protective tube.
