About the art
Taoist philosopher Lao Tzu argued that life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Let it flow in whatever way it flows. Don’t resist the change as it only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. My work is inspired by the same philosophy. It tries to explore natural surroundings, the continuous cycle of growth and degeneration, of continuity and disruption. Each piece is a celebration of subtleties and expressiveness of colors, of forms and marks, of the depth of layers and of the discovery of a path. A path where I am alive to the creative processes, unhindered, unbroken, awake to the ebb and flow of life around me, awake to life itself.
