About the art
Talitha observes the relationship between an individual's physical and spiritual reality through the neuron system's connections. She pictures that one's distance to oneself/god/divine energy is as close as our skin and blood vessels; invisible but present. Thus, she deconstructs multiple dimensions of human life to reveal what-so-called "the secret of life" that is often found in the tiniest, invisible structures and our solar system. These structures - depicted in the form of the microcosm (microbiology form) - then be reconstructed in the visualization of human anatomical figures, painted in a round transparent plexiglass
The plexiglass medium represents our limited logic and shallow wisdom, an unseen trap that surrounds our space and time, our reality. Using acrylic paint that generates bold colors and intricate forms in her paintings, she creates a strong relationship and contrast between the painting and its medium (plexiglass). She portrays inseparable dualism in every aspect of life that always comes along together.
