Artist Statement

Talitha observes the relationship between an individual's physical and spiritual reality through the connections of the neuron system. She pictures that one's distance to his oneself/god/divine energy is as close as our skin and our blood vessels; invisible but present. Thus, she deconstructs multiple dimensions of human life to reveal what-so-called "the secret of life" that often found in the tiniest, invisible structures and in our solar system. These structures - depicted in a form of the microcosm (microbiology form) and macrocosm (neutron stars/nebula) linkages in her painting
The plexiglass medium comes as a representation of our limited logic and shallow wisdom; an unseen trap that surrounds our space and time, our reality. Using acrylic paint that generates bold colors and intricate form in her paintings, she creates a strong relationship and contrast between the painting and its medium (plexiglass) as she portrays inseparable dualism in every aspect of life that always come along together.
