Artist Statement
I am often inspired by flowers and floral geometry, particularly their sensual nature. This painting explores the soft and playful essence of my relationship with flora.

I am an artist working in multiple mediums, navigating the balance between the self and the other. All of my work is self portraiture. The colors and subjects I use have been heavily influenced by my cultural background. Growing up in Bali, Indonesia with an American father and Indian mother I was exposed to a vast array of inspiring artists and landscapes. Much of my work attempts to balance these vibrant cultures and explore my connection with them. In blending reality and fluidity, structure and play, sensory memories and dreams, this work becomes an act of self analysis and meditation. Looking for and discovering junctures where contradictions exist in unison, I depict the moments in which I am most whole and do not exist in opposition to anything.
