Artist Statement
Part of the series Primitive Needs, this work is a study on movement and the trace of the body on a surface while making a certain shape. This research explore aspects of corporal memory and primitive needs such as contact and expression.

Tássia de Matos Bianchini (Brazil, 1988) studied Product Design at UFPR in Brazil, graduating in 2013. Following that, she turns her focus of interest towards visual arts and literature, especially her research on abstract expressionism, photography, poetry and reflections on motion, time and space. She is currently deepening her investigation at the M.A. Approaching Language at Sandberg (NL).
