The inspiration for this painting came from a house that I saw every day while walking to work in Tbilisi. I tried to comprehend its construction and to distinguish the architect's original intention from the layers of several epochs created by the locals of that building.
It really looks incredibly fabulous and textured, as if the property master worked long hours to create such an intricate structure.
I walked around the premise from many angles and couldn't figure out where the entrance was, all of the doors appeared to have been unused for a long time. However, some of the windows had lights turned on and it was obvious that people were still residing there. So, I decided to make it the home of true wizards in my work.
