About the art
Tenesh Webber is a Canadian artist who works in abstract black and white photography. She lives and works in the New York City area.
In this piece, Webber worked in the studio, stretching and layering thread and found objects onto a pre-cut frame, to create a multi-layered and complex sculptural object. The photographic print was made by laying this sculptural object onto light sensitive paper in a black and white darkroom, to create the camera-less print - photogram.
This is edition 2 of 5 with variations in each print in the edition.
Based in: United States
Tenesh Webber is a Canadian abstract photographer whose work explores and challenges conventions of traditional black and white photography.
She lives in Jersey City, New Jersey and works in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
