This artwork consists of 9 panels – 41cm x 41cm x 2cm each.
The work represents the blurred boundary between peace and war, chaos and order, construction and destruction; these contradictions are related to each other, and somehow balancing each other.

Artist Profile
Hometown: Tokyo
Based in: Tokyo
Tetsuya Fukushima moved to the US in 2002 after working as a graphic designer in Tokyo. After having experienced working as an artist assistant and freelance designer, he moved to the UK in 2006. He obtained an MA in Visual Arts and has since worked on numerous projects in both the art and design fields.
He returned to Tokyo in 2013 and continues to create his art there.
