Artist Statement
Just Dreaming is part of a small series of pieces which use some of the same source material as the starting point but then divert into different directions. this piece is a mixed media digital collage which brings together found imagery scanned paint markings and spray painted sections which have been layered together to create this contemporary abstract piece of work.

As a self taught artist my work is inspired by the various colours & textures that I see in everyday life from an old rusty door to flaking paint on walls, and these inspirations build into multi textured pieces. I draw inspiration from inner city life and the natural decay of urban spaces.
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England, I am a self taught artist working across different mediums including screen printing, digital collage and painting. creating multi layered and multi textural pieces of work.
My roots are in music production and dj-ing, which have been a huge influence on the way I work and create my art.
