Artist Statement
Artist Tran Tuan created this artwork from his feeling about his dream about the flame phoenix. It was a brilliantly beautiful dream of its rise and levitation. The Phoenix's whole body was red as if it was melting, and then it flew up like countless small and big flames in the deep blue sky. That image creates a great and glorious feeling of the endless joy of sublimation and revival.
