Artist Statement
Artist Tran Tuan created this artwork with the inspiration of his feeling about his childhood memories of boys flying kites. On summer afternoons in the countryside, the boys in the village together fly kites into the sky. The afternoon sunlight reflecting off the kites against the blue sky brings out a lot of vibrant colors. The kites intertwine, fluttering in the sky with white, red, orange colors creating a magical and unforgettable beauty.
