Artist statement
This artwork was created from the feeling of the artist about beautiful summer noon in the countryside. Those are the quiet, hot times. It is a vast space of ripe golden rice fields, blue sky, white clouds as cotton. And the most special and most memorable is that between the wonderful and quiet space-time of those summer noon, we can hear the cuckoo with its wonderful slow melody- resounding in space. Those are beautiful musical melodies of summer noon in the countryside.
