Artist statement
The artist painted this acrylic on canvas after being at the coast and experiencing the pink, gray, and blue colors of the sky when the sun went down. The work is wired for hanging and finished with black masking tape on the sides for neatness. The work is sold without a frame. The painting is on stretcher bars that are .75 inches deep, but this is rounded off to .8 inches.
