Vé Boisvert is a painter from Longlac, a small village bordered by lakes and forests in Northern Ontario. Now residing in Quebec, she operates in a loft located in the vibrant Saint-Roch neighborhood. Her love for painting is revealed in her early twenties, as she studies Communications at UQAM, in Montreal. Within this new metropolitan lifestyle, she discovers her artistic nature through writing, visual arts, and photography. Painting soon becomes a therapeutic form of release for her, but also a livelihood fueled by passion. Since she embarked on this artistic journey, she’s exposed in many galleries, fairs, symposiums, and various private events.
Her paintings have been sold in many countries across the globe, such as the United-Kingdom, Switzerland, the United-States, Japan, Singapore, Dubaï, Australia and Lebanon. This past year, her artworks have been displayed in many famous magazines, such as House & Garden (England), in Le Soleil newspaper (Quebec), as well as an article published by Radio-Canada. A few of her paintings were used as stage decor on the set of “Hubert et Fanny” broadcasted by Radio-Canada. Her work is displayed in four galleries located throughout Canada (La Malbaie, Montreal, Edmonton and Victoria
