Artist Statement
"El árbol feliz" means "The happy tree". It is inspired by hope, calm and patience in times of uncertainty.
The different perspectives and the three dimensionality of the golden pieces give a sense of warm harmony and modern aesthetics.
The Dorada, Roble and Carbon Series belong to the same family of three dimensional works. My wall sculptures have been shortlisted for the international Rise Art Prize 2018 in London, UK.
My work is carefully finished with a museum quality UV protection varnish, signed on the back and ready to hang.
All my works are sent with a Certificate of Authenticity and hand written thank you card.

Artist Profile
Hometown: Buenos Aires
Based in: Switzerland
Virginia Garcia Costa is an Argentinian artist based in Switzerland. Virginia produces wall sculptures inspired by elements of nature. The way Virginia arranges her materials into what looks like a surface of drips or water flow makes her wall sculptures' style truly unique. The different perspectives of the bark pieces give a peaceful sense of harmony and modern aesthetics. When viewed slightly askance, the perpendicular lines give the piece a fresh and calm sense of three-dimensionality.
Public and private collectors in Europe, the US, Canada, Asia, South America and Middle East have bought her work.
