Artist Statement
My hand painted works (Despues de la lluvia, Tardecita, Arco Iris and Caminito) are inspired by light and vibrant colors as a way of immersing oneself in joy and hope.
These paintings are one of a kind and somehow are connected with my wall sculptures -Roble and Carbon Series-. Lines that fall perpendicularly and create a three dimension feeling when work is observed from the side.
They are finished with a museum quality UV protection varnish. My works are framed with a high quality floating frame and measures each 57h x 57w x 5 cm. (in total 114 x 114 cm, with a space of 10 cm in between 124 x 124 cm)
All my works are sent with a Certificate of Authenticity and hand written thank you note.
They can be purchased together or individually. They are shown separately below.
These artworks will be shipped together in a customised wooden crate to ensure that they will arrive in perfect condition.

Artist Profile
Hometown: Buenos Aires
Based in: Switzerland
Virginia Garcia Costa is an Argentinian artist based in Switzerland. Virginia produces wall sculptures inspired by elements of nature. The way Virginia arranges her materials into what looks like a surface of drips or water flow makes her wall sculptures' style truly unique. The different perspectives and the three dimensionality of the bark pieces give a peaceful sense of harmony and modern aesthetics. When viewed slightly askance, the perpendicular lines give the piece a fresh sense of three-dimensionality.
Public and private collectors in Europe, the US, Canada, Asia and Middle East have bought her work.
